Recently we had to move TYPO3 driven web site to the dedicated server without sendmail or SMTP options available and we\u2019ve decided to use Sendgrid<\/a> as a transport to deliver all messages generated by TYPO3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, TYPO3 lacks any documentation of how to set it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TYPO3 uses Symfony’s Mailer to deliver email messages. This allows us to use all transports available to it. See full list here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To let TYPO3 be able to use one of those transports, load required dependency module:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And setup correct Data Source Name (DSN) in your LocalConfiguration.php or AdditionalConfiguration.php file:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And that’s all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
